Non-profit work.

A lot of my favorite work is for organizations standing up for other people. I partner with non-profits in equity, education, healthcare and community empowerment, including therapeutic programs for neurodiverse youth and career-pathway programs for underrepresented groups. Outside client work, I volunteer with kids, using art to help them find their voice.

Hope Renovations

Hope Renovations is a Chapel Hill–Carrboro, North Carolina non-profit with a two-part mission. Its 12-week pre-apprenticeship program trains underemployed women and gender-expansive people for careers in the construction trades, and its crews do home repairs that help older adults and people with disabilities stay safely in their own homes. I was lucky enough to design their annual report and to help design the invitations and signs for their annual Summer Soirée.

Equine therapy program

Empowering Strides is a non-profit organization providing therapeutic horsemanship to neurodivergent individuals who face behavioral, emotional and/or cognitive challenges. I redesigned their website so it was easier to navigate for their volunteers, donors, and students.
